CRITICAL DEFENDER NEED:  DONATE FOR WATER!

During the hot summer months, staying hydrated is crucial to Defenders being able to stay alert, focused and healthy. Please help us supply as many people on the front lines as possible with water filters, camelbacks, water tablets and other water cleaning supplies: https://givebutter.com/hydrate We aim to raise $10,000 for this project by the end of July. Each donation of up to $5,000 will be matched by a generous contribution from Tim and Lezlie Garrett. Please help us unlock this matching gift!

The human body is 60% made of water, and an average person needs 1 gallon (3.7 liters) of water per day to replenish this level. And when it comes to the Ukrainian defenders,  the need for accessible drinking water is even more crucial. These heroes often spend months in active fighting, often without rotation, increasing their exertion and the resulting need for water. Click here to read more help.

Non-stop Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian water and filtering stations, as well as the pollution of the natural water resources due to the ongoing shelling results in very limited access to clean water, especially in the battlefield. The Russian-made ecological catastrophe caused by the Russian military blowing up the Kakhovka Dam made the clean drinking water supplies in the front lines even more scarce.

With your help, we’ll be able to buy water filters, water tablets and camelbacks to make sure Ukrainian defenders have access to clean water. Keep in mind that as Ukrainian defenders are freeing the occupied territories in Ukraine, they are the first ones to offer any help to civilians, so the more supplies we can purchase and deliver, the more help they can provide. A $100 donation enables us to buy 10 personal water filters; a $200 donation buys 10 Camelbak pouches in backpacks, and a $300 donation buys 10 100-pack water purification tablets that last one person for about a month. Don’t let these numbers scare you: Every $20 or $50 donation goes a long way!
