If you’ve supported Sunflower Seeds Ukraine, either through donations, volunteer work, or spreading awareness, you’ve helped save lives. It’s not a platitude—it’s a fact. How do we know? Defenders on the frontlines have told us so.

The work we do, and the material support we provide, are carefully curated to ensure we provide what is most needed. Why do we send first aid kits? Because medics on the frontlines asked for them. Why have we recently increased our flow of night vision devices, anti-drone safety nets, drone detectors, and power banks to the front lines? Because Defenders asked for them. They ask and we provide because they are proven to save lives and get us that much closer to victory!

Below you will find a small selection of recent messages from Ukrainian Defenders. A reminder that your contribution makes a tangible difference in people’s lives.

Saving Lives

Спальник, повер банк та сітка проти дронів. Нажаль сітка своє відпрацювала, спальник теплиший, та берци бо старі вже майже зносились, не витримують на жаль.

The sleeping bag, power bank and the net against drones. Unfortunately the net has already served its purpose, the sleeping bag is warmer [than one I had before] and the boots, because the old ones are almost worn out, unfortunately they can't survive for long.

Усе що я отримав дуже допомогло мені в побуті і при виконанні завдань,а детектор дронів взагалі врятував життя нашого екіпажу, можливо і не один раз, дуже вам дякую за вашу працю, перемога буде за нами.

Everything I received helped me a lot in my everyday life and during our operations, and the drone detector actually saved the lives of our crew, perhaps more than once. Thank you very much for your work, victory will be ours.

The Impact of Tactical Supplies

Велике дякую Вам за допомогу, звертався за допомогою двічі. Якщо речі приходили не нові, то у належному стані та гарної якості. Брав рюкзаки, надувний коврик, бінокль та багато іншого. Всі ці речі стали в нагоді під час служби у зоні бойових дій.

Thank you very much for your help, I asked for help twice. If the things did not come new, then in good condition and good quality. I got backpacks, an inflatable mat, binoculars and much more. All these things came in handy during my service in the combat zone.

Посилку отримав цілою, не ушкодженою, гарно та надійно запакованою. Не зважаючи на довгу обробку запиту, речі з посилки не втратили актуальності. Якість матеріалів на високому рівні. Наколінники та налокітники якраз того розміру що потрібно. Високої оцінки заслуговують матеріали та вміст аптечки. Щиро вдячний Вашій команді за цю важку та нелегку працю, що на 5му році повномасштабного вторгнення маєте силу, терпіння, наснаги робити добрі справи. Не зупиняйтесь.

I received the parcel intact, undamaged, beautifully and securely packed. Despite the long processing of the request, the items in the parcel have not lost their relevance. The quality of the materials is at a high level. The knee and elbow pads are just the right size. The materials and contents of the first aid kit deserve high praise. I am sincerely grateful to your team for this hard and difficult work, for having the strength, patience, and encouragement to do good deeds in the 5th year of a full-scale invasion. Don't stop.
