Join us for an exclusive opportunity to learn from an expert panel of presenters about how drones are changing the landscape of Ukrainian battlefields, affecting Ukrainian defenders, and what non-profits are doing about it.

Panel speakers will describe critical front line needs related to drones and counter-drone measures, so called ‘jammers‘, and how and why small nonprofits like Sunflower Seeds Ukraine are poised to provide aid quickly and efficiently in this rapidly evolving battlefield landscape. 

  • John Spencer , a retired major and military expert, will share insights into the unique needs of Ukrainian Defenders.

  • Ron Carter will share stories from his extensive time on the front lines training defenders and medics.

  • Roman Krasovskyi and Andriy Khrapal will Zoom in from Ukraine to explain how his brigade used drone jammers to save Defenders' lives

  • Andriy Zakutayev, a founder of Sunflower Seeds Ukraine, will discuss how we raise and allocate funds to Defenders, medics, villagers, children, and other affected civilians.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet SFSU volunteers and have a Q&A session with the presenter panel.

We're holding this special event in conjunction with the Conference of World Affairs (CWA) so that you can dedicate the day to soaking in dynamic discussions between prominent thought leaders as they explore how global equity and leadership will impact the world for decades to come.
