SFSU at TedX Boulder Salon

  • 1000 Canyon Boulevard Boulder, CO, 80302 United States (map)

Four stories from Ukrainians and Boulderites reveal how ordinary people confront war through innovation, care, local leadership, and a shared passion for Ukraine.

Featuring:

  • Roman Dzyvulskyi: A Ukrainian who fled a Russian-occupied city with his family and now faces the challenges of starting over in the US

  • Andriy Zakutayev: A diaspora engineer who is building drone defense systems from Boulder to protect Ukraine's military and providing humanitarian aid as a volunteer with Sunflower Seeds for Ukraine

  • Gaea Logan: A psychoanalyst who founded the International Institute for Trauma Studies, embedding trauma-informed care into classrooms, clinics, and communities across Ukraine.

  • Sarah Wilson Sokhey: A CU political scientist tracking how local governments are quietly strengthening Ukraine, even as public faith in them wanes.

Together, they’ll lead a conversation with the audience about the people and actions that embody Ukraine's strength.
